Every morning, A wakes in a different person’s body, a different person’s life. There’s never any warning about where it will be or who it will be. A has made peace with that, even established guidelines by which to live: Never get too attached. Avoid being noticed. Do not interfere.
It’s all fine until the morning that A wakes up in the body of Justin and meets Justin’s girlfriend, Rhiannon. From that moment, the rules by which A has been living no longer apply. Because finally A has found someone he wants to be with—day in, day out, day after day.

EVERY DAY is just one of those books that grabs you from the first sentence and refuses to let you go. This really is a book to be savored, but I couldn’t stop reading. I found myself propelled into each chapter needing to know what body A would end up in each day. Dying to know how he was going to make his impossible dream of love a reality.
A is…well, I don’t think A even knows what he is. A soul
maybe? From the day he was born he wakes up in a different body every day.
Boys, girls, gender doesn’t matter. At
midnight he automatically finds himself in another borrowed body. Another
temporary life. He wanders through life
as an uninvited guest, never to have his own family or connections. When the
book begins, A finds himself in the body of a boy named Justin. Only this time
isn’t like the others. Justin has a girlfriend. A girlfriend he treats badly.
And A finds himself falling for this girl hard and fast, even when everything
in him tells him it’s not something he has the right to feel. He has made it a
rule not to interfere in the lives he’s borrowed, but when he meets Rhiannon,
he can’t help himself. He wants to give this sad girl at least one good day. But
he never expected his feelings for her to stick with him and grow even after he
left Justin’s body.
I loved this book. The idea is original. It is beautifully
written. “A” was someone I was rooting for, crying for, and aching for. My
heart was broken into a million little pieces then stitched back together through
the course of this story. Everything about this book was absolutely brilliant. It
read like a contemporary with an unusual paranormal twist. I recommend this to
anyone who enjoys reading in general. Whatever your genre, Every Day is a classic.
A book everyone needs to read. This is a book I will never forget.

I've been salivating over this idea since I heard about it. I also love Levithan's writing, so there's that, too :-D

I love this book as well! It gripped me from the first pages. I wanted to savor this book as well, but I just ploughed through it and finished it in one sitting. I'm going to be rereading this book more slowly when I have the time :)
