From Goodreads: Olivia has spent her life learning about her enemies, the deadly Venator - including how to kill them. What she knows nothing about is whiskey, playing poker, or rugged, copper-haired musicians. As punishment for a small 'crime,' Olivia is sent to a safe house in a human town and forced to live as one of them for a summer. There, she meets the charming Jackson Vance, and her real education begins. She soon discovers that she's being hunted, and figuring out why means she uncovers a secret that threatens to end everything she's ever fought for.
I'm so excited to have Everett from the Eagleton Coven here on YA Bound for a Miniview!
1) Everett, can you tell us what it's like being a part of your coven? How close are you with the other members?
2) You seem very weary of Jackson. Is there a reason for your distrust, or does he just rub you the wrong way?
For the longest time, it's just been the coven members. We know who we can trust, and we can count on each member of the coven. I just don't think we should trust so blindly in someone we don't even know. I know Olivia cares for him, but what if they were in public and a hunter attacked? What's he going to do...sing the hunter to death? He just can't protect her like I...like the other members of the coven could.
3) I know that you and Olivia are like siblings, really close. But I can't help but wonder if you may have deeper feelings for her, possibly on a romantic level?
*Blushes.* No ... No! Olivia would never look at me like that. I mean, I'm her little brother as far as she's concerned. And I couldn't look at her like that, either. I guess that would be weird. Besides, Olivia has this Jackson now. Whatever. As long as she's happy...that's all that matters to me in the world.
